Object of the Day 2 – Dresden Candle Holder

Dresden Candle Holder

I have a house full of stuff. Stuff I've bought, stuff I've created, stuff I've inherited. So it comes as a surprise that I am having difficulty choosing objects to draw. This candle holder is one of a pair from my grandparents house. They had a lot of stuff, too.

I love the delicate shade of pink and the little roses. I made the rolled beeswax candle in the perfect shade of light magenta.
