First Coat
Yay! the first coat of yellow is begun. The bad news-the painter's tape I used to mask edges pulled some primer off.
The good news-it didn't pull off primer everywhere, just a few small places so the primer seems to be holding.
The yellow is interior no VOC semi-gloss which will supposedly not hold up well outside.
I have decide to document the piano over the month of August as it sits outside and see just how it ages.
In researching acrylics, I find that Golden and Liquitex are MADE for murals. Too costly for a base coat but if they can manage it without toxic chemicals why can't house paint manufacturers?
Here is another artist: Jennifer Carroll with a friend.
